Before photographs can be uploaded to the database the pot has to be in the Pots Table. ARI Staff can add pot records here.

View a list of all the pots in the database that have 3D scans available (a 3D Viewer is required). You can open the scan record for any entry in an interactive 3D viewer. Get the free 3D Viewer.

Look for Pot records by Accession Number. The system adds a wildcard character before and after the term you type, so you can look for all or part of the Accession Number. The search returns a list of the pot records that contain the search term, and you can open the full pot record, including all photographs, for any record in the result list.
 

Here are some search examples:

• "1950.001.00010" (the full Accession Number) returns just one pot.
• "1950" returns all the pots with 1950 in the Accession Number.
• ".001." returns all the pots from the first accession from any year.
• "1950.001." returns all the pots from the first accession of 1950.
• "00010" returns the tenth pot from all accessions (assuming consecutive pot numbering, with no skipped numbers).
• ".001.00010" returns the tenth pot in the first accession for all years.
